Camp Myrtlewood Outdoor School Program Cost
The 2026-2027 cost per student is:
$335.00 for a 0-night/3-day program
$500.00 for a 2-night/3-day program
$650.00 for a 3-night/4-day program
$800.00 for a 4-night/5-day program
Teachers are always free (minimum one per 35 students). Chaperones are free at one per 8 students; additional chaperones are $72/night for food and lodging (reimbursed via OSU Extension ODS).

2026-2027 outdoor school funding updates and important policy changes
I want to make sure that you are all aware of this year’s application timeline and new policies.
Districts should submit their funding applications between September 8 and October 15 and include their actual enrollment numbers. As you’re communicating with teachers, you could help remind them about our timeline.

Located in Myrtle Point, Oregon, Camp Myrtlewood has a rich history that dates back to its establishment in 1936. The camp was founded on land generously donated for the purpose of creating a space for spiritual renewal, education, and recreation. This donation was aligned with the values of the Church of the Brethren, under whose auspices the camp operates.
Over the years, Camp Myrtlewood has evolved into a sanctuary of environmental stewardship and hospitality. It is situated in Southern Oregon's coast range and encompasses 158 acres of stunning temperate rainforest, including streams, serene meadows, and quaint rustic buildings. These natural features create a perfect backdrop for the camp's mission.

Camp Myrtlewood inspires transformation and community connection through hospitality, education, and environmental stewardship. We provide a welcoming, inclusive retreat where individuals and groups can engage in spiritual renewal, lifelong learning, and active involvement in environmental conservation.
