Removing invasive ivy and vinca
We learned during a presentation by Kim Phillips that English ivy and vinca ground covers are damaging to the ecology of Camp. They crowd out native species, are propagated in the forest where they kill trees, and alter the environment for birds and animals. A crew of people worked for two days tearing out patches and disposing of them.
