BRETHREN MEN’S RETREAT
FEBRUARY 17th, 18th, AND 19th, 2017
Greetings from Camp Myrtlewood! We are looking forward to seeing all of you guys in three weeks.
As usual, we’ll decide what we’re doing when you get here. But we do know a few things for certain.
I have a video on Global Climate Change called The 11th Hour that I would like to show. Anyone with knowledge and interest on Global warming would be welcome to contribute and please feel free to call me on my cell @ 541-613-2663.
Last year, Brother Andrew Sampson took on the responsibility for our Sunday potpourri worship—unfortunately Andrew will not be able to attend this year. Perhaps one or some of you guys may want to help contribute to the service content this year?
Brother John will be talking to Dale in regards to our traditional Native American Sweat. He will be setting up the Sweat Lodge on Saturday morning—help is always welcome.
You guys know what to bring: Today the sun is out and it’s perfect but prepare for cold and wet, but hope for a break like today! Don’t forget your spare skivvies! And bring an extra towel and a pair of shorts, if you plan to take part in the sweat.
Let us know that you are coming, and if you have any special needs or dietary restrictions, by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us at 541-572-5307. It’s hard for us when we have no idea on the amount of men that will be attending, so please confirm your attendance as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!
The cost will be $70.00 for the weekend which includes two overnights and six meals. We start with dinner on Friday and end with lunch on Sunday. Please let us know if you plan to stay over on Sunday night, and eat left-overs.
Blessings and Safe travels to all of you!!
